For you, Indonesia-ku

Do I have Kalimantan blood?

A simple answer: no! ^^
I’m truly Javanese 🙂

Though my father did. He was born at Samarinda, the capital city of East Kalimantan province. and spent his childhood there for some years.
Even my brother did. He worked at Kalimantan for almost a year.

But, I didn’t. I have no idea about Kalimantan, I haven’t ever stepped my feet there.  I don’t have any experience yet information about this island.

Why I’m keep asking about Kalimantan blood in my soul? Because it related to the next matter I will give to you.

Kayau Dance!

Yeah, I one of those girls who were on stage dancing Kayau dance in Indonesian Cultural Exhibition 2011. None of us has experience in this dance before, but fortunately there were traditional expert dancers who came to Taipei practicing Mandarin. They taught us almost 2 months  intensively in every weekend.

For you, Indonesia-ku..

Long time no see. I came back at 2011.

I’m back!! Ehee… Howdy all.
What a pity, I saw year ‘2009’ noted in my last post here! So, it has been almost 2 years since I wrote my last post.. geezz ~.~”

Good night here, the weather was successfully enough to make my fingers freezing: 10°C (Taipei, Taiwan).

I hate wet winter: cold wind conspire with the rain make the weather completely sooo cooolldd 😦
It makes me hard to concentrate of doing anything especially studying. ehe, it’s an excuse.

NTUST current hot issues  is exam! Yes, we are now on final exam week. This is my 2nd semester, then 1-2 months later I will become a 2nd year student (of course if I pass the evaluation, oh God please help me).

During these exam weeks, I also have another ‘big’ event. My dancing team, “kayau dance — kalimantan dance”, will perform at year end event: AAEON – NTUST at January 15th. Woo, It will be my first chance to perform here. Hopefully we can give our best performance to introduce our country, Indonesia at Taipei.. *sparkling-sparkling*

As an International student who currently is studying out of  the country, we automatically will also become Indonesian representative especially cultural representative. We, Indonesian student at NTUST, here already have a place to accommodated it – called NTUST-ISA (NTUST Indonesian Association). In this period, I also have a chance to be the secretary 🙂

Becoming a 2nd year student is not easy like ‘just’ pass the exam; I do should give a big care to my research from now on. Huhu, though it’s still tough for me. There’s also an evaluation program that I should pass to continue getting my next ‘one year’ scholarship.

Ok, I should go, my stomach is screaming want me to feed it up. There are still many things that I would like to share: new friends, beautiful places, unique foods, etc.

See you soon, then.
Happy New Year 2011!

Once upon a time my friends it feels like yesterday
I was living lonesome in a world of disarray
Everything was black and white, there wasn’t even gray
And every morning waking up on Groundhog Day

It was all in monochrome ,without the light,
Just like a silver screen you walked into my life

You taught the stars to light up what was dark
I found the light saturated in your charm
We kiss the sky and dance across rainbows
Now it’s all in technicolor with you

I lived in the blackest house with seven pure white cats
The bleak eyed look of every day hidden deep inside my hat
The notes on the piano now remind me of my past
And now you’re here right by my side, I hope that we will last

It was all in monochrome, without the light,
Just like a silver screen you walked into my life

You taught the stars to light up what was dark
I found the light saturated in your charm
We kiss the sky and dance across rainbows
Now it’s all in technicolor with you

Yellow, orange, pink, green and blue
Let’s paint the town, darling us two
You bring your pallet and I will sing the sub bar
We’re just two birds of a feather

You taught the stars to light up what was dark
I found the light saturated in your charm
We kiss the sky and dance across rainbows
Now it’s all in technicolor with you

lets start to writing again..
(hahah, why its always so hard to get “a mood” for writing somethings -_-‘)

hmm, how about a dream? lets talk a little about it,
its very important for the future, right?
for me, from the past until now, i have a simple dream,
(maybe its a classic dream that everyone have it) that is to proud my parents 😉
and i think this is the time, my time is soo limited.
i’ve been spending my time in college near to 4 years
*8th semester* hopefully it will be the last semester and done
but, wait for minutes, take a deep breathe, and think over it
there’s lot of questions that intrude my mind
– what i’ve been learning so far,
– have i truly get my specialization in this major,
– is there enough skill that i learn from this major,
– whats my contribution to be here,
– what will i do next when i get my bachelor degree,
– why i still have a bad habit to delay a task,
– … (etc, i cant write it all here :P)
– and the last is *have i already truly try my best to reach my dream?!*

so much to do, so much to think.. 😉
